Default Making And Saving Our Pvp Templates

Ok I have been unlocking tons of skills with my PvE characters and finally it was time to go to PvP with the Unlocked skills. I can switch between 4 different proffessions. The most annoying thing is whenever I make a pvp character and changing different proffessions I have to go delete the current pvp character, then go back and select my new hair color, face (not that I do), skills and items to put on with armor runes etc etc. This process really drives patience, not just me who go back and forth with the same process but the people who are waiting for me to do this. I am suggesting a customizable template for individual players. We can SAVE the builds we want, by first setting what our item and runes and skills for lets say...a IWAY warrior and an energy denial mesmer. So once I have created this pvp IWAY warrior character with skills and everything, I can go ingame and get a nice little option that says "SAVE BUILD TO TEMPLATE". Therefore whenever I want to change my current pvp character's build to IWAY warrior I go to another ingame option that says "LOAD TEMPLATE" and it will show me a list of the template: IWAY warrior and Energy Denial Messmer. After I load my IWAY warrior template all the settings which I saved are load and I just changed my pvp character without deleting my pvp character but simply switching it IN GAME. This would save SO much time waiting for someone and going through the process of deleting a pvp character to change builds, changing attribute points etc etc.

Also modification to your templates are needed as well. Lets say I want to change my heal monk template and want to replace word of healing with something else. I wouldn't have to go and delete the template I already have and make a new one or make a new one to begin with that would show the changes. Example Healing monk 1 (with word of healing) Healing Monk 2 (without word of healing). I can simply just go and click on the nice little option "MODIFY TEMPLE: HEALING MONK ".

It is wise to mention that the hair color, face etc etc type feature is also save along with the template of the player. Therefore to stress the fact that you only need to make a specific pvp character only ONCE and can free swtich inbetween freely without logging out, delete, select proffession, attribute points, skills etc etc that causes a lot of waiting time and frustration in waiting and going through the process over and over everytime you change builds.

If they do this, it better be saved in your computer. Otherwise it is major waste of bandwidth. Right now, just write downt he stuff or use screens.

I agree we should be able to delete the pre-made characters and save our build into the would be empty slots. Another thing is if you put the wrong rune or arm yourself with teh wrong weapon, having to re roll is annoying.

I do not know why they haven't included a second display screen for changing out unlocked items in outposts, similar to skills and points, for PvP characters, when that is one of two paths they are embracing for players to choose. I just unlocked the 20% axe mastery handle, my current axe has a 10%, I see no reason why I shouldn't switch it out, but this becomes an annoyance because now I must delete him and remake, just to change that out, or to place a new rune on a piece of armor, try out a different armor set up, etc.

I can understand different profession, that is a lot of data which has to change, but, everything else is rather minor when there are already screens where these are all selected and placed on, as well as the ability to swap them out in normal play, changing armor and such, just give the Priest of Balthazaar the same kind of window for PvP characters, allowing them to modify the last screen, I guess include dyes though I won't press it for caring about that to say the least.

Would just be nice when someone does want to try a new build, say they have Earth Wands and Scrolls, well they aren't very effective with an ES/Fire build, nor is my axe going to do very much with gash and hamstring.

/signed. I wholeheartedly agree with this idea, creating new pvp chars is a pain in the neck... even worse when you realise you picked the wrong weapon and you have to delete and start from scratch.. aargh!

Was just about to suggest this since I haven't seen it suggested

Anywho I 100% agree. Nothing is more annoying than missing a rune, having to remake when you have 3 of 4 slots taken up by RP characters, etc. Just a huge time saver and something everyone would put to good use.

I'd love something like this, I can create most of my usual PvP characters blindfolded by now simply because I had to reconstruct them so many times. It's a pain, and simply eats into play time (especially if you forget an icy upgrade on your conjure warrior and have to recreate all over again because of it); most of the interface for templates seems present already anyway, except it's going to waste because of rather sad default templates. Just put in a [delete] button on the template selection page, a template name input on the character name selection page and a [save] button along with it, and be rid of this cumbersome process. 'Preparing to have fun' couldn't be implemented more literally right now.
